About the project

Antanas Sutkus is one of the most famous Lithuanian photographers, an initiator and a long-term leader of the Lithuanian Society of Photography. The photographer has organized over 200 personal exhibitions in Lithuania, Germany, France, Spain, Great Britain, the United States, Brazil and other countries around the world.
Antanas Sutkus' photo album “People of Lithuania” is considered to be one of the artist's most striking works. The photographs published in the publication were collected in Soviet Lithuania. Black-and-white photographs capture simple portraits of people in everyday life routine.
