Resist: Things Artists do Whilst Learning to Teach is the culmination of collaborative project between artist teachers from the Art and Design PGCE course at ULC, Institute of Eduction and Freelands Foundation. The teachers were invited to reflect on their position as artists in schools, investigate their new context, and make an artwork in response to the situation. These artists are at the start of their careers in schools and balancing life as an artist and as an art teacher can be demanding.
